"In the fall of 2000, I decided to purchase a horse. I had loved the Arabian since I was a little child, and so I set out on a search for an Arab. I was taken to Mandel Arabians by a friend. I was shown Delle's 'Sales List' and thought I might be interested in an Arab/Morgan cross chestnut filly - MDA Miss Louisville aka"Lover". Delle was away at the time, so her son Danny took me out to find the horse. We came across a little red filly, and Danny was sure that was the one, but I, in the meantime had stumbled across a beautiful, sweet looking red filly that I immediately fell in love with. I led her over to Danny and he said that she was the one. So, I bought her. Spring of 2003, I decided that I wanted to purchase a few Arabs to begin a breeding program within the near future. I knew what I wanted, friendly horses that weren't used to being "pampered', that were showy, had a decent working attitude, were affordable, and had good, well known bloodlines. I searched all of the Maritimes and parts of the rest of Canada, and kept coming back to Mandel Arabians. I finally purchased two gorgeous fillies, MDA Jamila Dragon(IBM Jamaar Bahjat x Dragon Queen) and MDA Scarlets Maxxima(DW Maxx x DW Scarlet) from Delle. All through the months of my searching, everytime, I ended up back at Delles'. I always felt welcomed, Delle patiently took me on tours of the pastures countless times, answering all questions and giving advice when asked.
